    Default FMIC Installation Results

    Just thought I'd bring this over from EvoXForum to share with other members

    Definitions:
    FMIC= Front Mount Intercooler
    UICP=Upper Intercooler Piping/Pipe
    LICP= Lower Intercooler Piping/Pipe
    WOT=Wide Open Throttle
    RPM=Revolutions Per Minute
    DP=Down Pipe
    TBE=Turbo Back Exhaust
    HFC=High Flow Cat
    CAT=Catalytic Converter
    EBC=Electronic Boost Controller
    FPR=Fuel Pressure Regulator
    BOV=Blow Off Valve

    Purpose: This thread was created in an effort to gather more information on the vehicles response to a FMIC & LICP with regards to tune. Data logs of the vehicle will be posted prior to parts installation, after parts installation without a re-tune and after installation with a re-tune.

    Logging Conditions:
    1. Three WOT pulls from 3rd Gear, starting from 2000RPM-7250RPM without FMIC & LICP installed
    2. Three WOT pulls from 3rd Gear, starting from 2000RPM-7250RPM with FMIC & LICP installed
    3. Three WOT pulls from 3rd Gear, starting from 2000RPM-7250RPM with FMIC & LICP installed and Pro-Tune adjusted (E-Tune)

    SESSION 1: PRE FMIC & LICP LOGS
    Conditions: Elevation=5354 Temperature=62F Road=2 Miles Flat Humidity=Dry


    SESSION 2: POST FMIC & LICP LOGS WITHOUT RECALIBRATION

    Conditions: Elevation=5354 Temperature=64-67F Road=2 Miles Flat Humidity=Dry


    SESSION 3: POST FMIC & LICP LOGS WITH RECALIBRATION
    Conditions: Elevation=5354 Temperature=76-78 Road=2 Miles Flat Humidity=Dry
